The AREAL Team

Christopher Talia

Marketing Manager

As Areal’s Marketing Manager, Christopher Talia is responsible for leading our marketing and communications teams, and designing omni-channel marketing strategies to grow Areal Property Group’s revenue, value, and brand on both a companywide and local agency level.

With a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Bond University and ten years in the industry, Christopher brings to the table an incredibly diverse knowledge and skillset and a wealth of experience. He considers himself incredibly fortunate to have worked and gained experience across every facet of marketing, including social media management, copywriting, email marketing, website marketing, sales analytics, demographic analysis, and even emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR). Throughout his career, he has been responsible for designing and implementing marketing, communications, and promotional strategies for companies including Crown Melbourne, QIC, Melbourne Market Authority, STEP (London, UK), IQ Student Accommodation (London, UK), and Australian Tyre Traders.

Christopher is a strong believer that you never stop learning – particularly when you work in a field like marketing, which continues to change and advance with the development of new technologies. Although the core principles to marketing remain the same, the way businesses communicate their messages has changed, which is why Christopher is always looking for ways to upskill and expand his knowledge in the very latest in marketing best practice.

Christopher is very ambitious and career driven, and has already set his sights on working his way up to Head of Marketing or another leadership role. Around the office, Christopher is known for his ambitious attitude and hard-working nature, as well as his bubbly personality and reliability. Christopher also prides himself on being very approachable, and enjoys being someone that others in the company feel they can come to any time they need help with anything to do with marketing and communications.

On weekends, you will find Christopher spending most of his time with his dog Turbo. He is also a keen traveller, and considers working in the United Kingdom for two years and going on European getaways to be one of his biggest highlights – both professionally and personally.
